History

Founded in 1981, the Bow Valley Club was created to provide Calgary’s executives with a top tier fitness and social experience. Over the course of its history, the Club has undergone many renovations and changes to maintain its position as the city’s premier health and social club. These innovations included the addition and expansion of the women’s fitness centre and locker rooms, as well as many upgrades to the fitness equipment, meeting and dining areas.

Though we are constantly refining our services to enhance our offering, the central tenets of service, excellence and comfort are exemplified in everything we do and will be for years to come.

Philosophy

At the foundation of the Bow Valley Club is the belief that a club should be built around its members. Everything we do is tailored to the unique needs of our clientele. From menu and wine selections to fitness equipment and meeting areas, we take pride in creating an environment that exudes comfort and sophistication.

We know our members by name; we know how they like their meals and their favourite exercise. This personal expertise enables us to deliver where many other clubs fall short: our members truly belong here. And as their tastes change, we are the first to adapt to ensure top calibre service.

Art

Every piece of art on our walls is hand selected to compliment our décor and reflect the overall feel of the Club. We are proud to display works from our own collection, as well as those courtesy of Master’s Art Gallery. New pieces are rotated in throughout the year to keep the atmosphere distinct and inspired.
